1 Tbsp cooking oil
1 Tbsp flour
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 onion, chopped
1 can crab meat or equivalent fresh crab meat
1 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 bell pepper, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
- Make a roux with the oil and flour, stirring until brown.
- Add cream of mushroom soup, onion, garlic, bell pepper, and celery.
- Stir thoroughly.
- Add crab meat and continue stirring.
- Serve as an appetizer with potato chips, Ritz crackers, etc.
