Crabmeat Imperial

1 lb butter
1 cup flour
1 quart milk or whipping cream
1 cup mushrooms, steamed, chopped
1 cup green onion
1/2 cup parsley, chopped
1/2 cup pimentos, chopped
2 Tsp Worchester sauce
1/2 tsp red pepper
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp white pepper
1 Tsp salt
Crabmeat, fresh lump

  1. In a medium-size pot, melt butter on low fire.
  2. Add flour.
  3. Let cook for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Add milk.
  5. Stir until smooth.
  6. Add mushroom, green onion, parsley, pimento, and all seasonings.
  7. Let simmer until all ingredients are fully cooked.
  8. Stir in crabmeat.
  9. Put mixture in casserole dish.
  10. Top with breadcrumbs.
  11. Cook at 350° until the top is brown.
